Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

RozTube Media Ltd ("RozTube") respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects the creators we feature to do the same. This policy explains how rights holders can notify us of alleged infringement on roztube.com and how we respond. It is written to meet the requirements of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market and the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, and it applies regardless of where you are located.

Where to send notices

Our designated agent for copyright notices can be reached at:

Notices sent to other addresses may be delayed.

How to file a copyright notice

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must be in writing and include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if several works are covered by one notice).
  2. Identification of the infringing material with enough detail for us to find it: the full URL of each RozTube page (for example https://roztube.com/watch/... ) and, where relevant, a timestamp within a video.
  3. Your contact information: full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Please consider whether the use might be permitted by law (for example fair use, fair dealing, quotation, parody or review) before filing. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

What happens next

  • We acknowledge complete notices within 2 business days.
  • Where a notice is complete and plausible we remove or disable access to the material, normally within 3 business days of receipt and sooner for clear-cut cases.
  • We tell the creator concerned that their material has been removed and give them a copy of the notice (with your contact details, which is required so that they can respond).
  • If a notice is incomplete we will tell you what is missing. We may decline to act on notices that do not meet the requirements above.

Counter-notice

If you are a creator and believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to copyright@roztube.com containing:

  1. identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared;
  2. a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  3. your name, address, telephone number and email address;
  4. a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or, if you are in the United States, the federal district court for your address) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice;
  5. your physical or electronic signature.

We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have sought a court order against you, we may restore the material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

We keep a record of notices received. A creator who is the subject of three substantiated notices within twelve months, or whose conduct shows a pattern of infringement, has their channel and all of their content removed from RozTube and is not featured again.
