Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 17 September 2026
RozTube Media Ltd wants everyone to be able to watch, read and enjoy the work we publish on roztube.com, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement describes where we are, where we fall short and how to reach us.
Our target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is checked as part of our development process: every public page is tested with automated tooling in both light and dark themes and across phone, tablet and desktop sizes before a release, and we review new components by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader.
What we have done
- Keyboard access. Every page, menu, player control, form and dialog can be operated with a keyboard alone. A "Skip to content" link is the first focusable element on each page and focus is always visible.
- Structure. Pages use proper landmarks, a single
h1and a logical heading order, so screen-reader users can move around quickly. - Text alternatives. Images carry descriptive alternative text supplied by our editors. Purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Captions and transcripts. Videos display captions where the creator has provided them, and the player exposes caption controls to keyboard and screen-reader users. We encourage every creator to supply captions.
- Contrast. Text and interface colours meet the AA contrast ratio in both the light and dark themes, and you can switch theme at any time.
- Motion. Animations and hover previews are reduced or removed when your system has "reduce motion" turned on. Nothing autoplays with sound.
- Resizing and reflow. Content reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide and remains usable at 200% zoom. Touch targets on phones are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Forms. Every form field has a visible label, and errors are announced and described in text next to the field.
Known limitations
We are not perfect yet. Issues we know about:
- Some older videos have no captions because the creator did not supply them. We are working with creators to add them and will not add auto-generated captions without review.
- Third-party embeds of RozTube posts on other websites inherit the accessibility of the host page, which we cannot control.
- Very long photo carousels can be slow to navigate with a screen reader; we are redesigning the controls.
Compatibility
The site is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, and with the screen readers commonly paired with them (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack). Some features may not work correctly in browsers that are no longer supported by their vendor.

Review
This statement is reviewed at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.
